If you didn't finish your capitalization practice and notes in class, please download the file and complete it for homework. It is due tomorrow. Additionally, if you need the goals worksheet, you may also download that.
Reading: The focus of this week's Study Island assignment is connotation and denotation. We'll also be learning about it in class. At the end of the week, we'll continue reading The Giver. Students will be expected to complete assignments in preparation for literature circles, too.
Writing: This week, we'll continue learning about writing persuasive essays. We'll discuss audience and identifying pros and cons. Grammar: We are finishing our unit on capitalization this week. Please prepare for Wednesday's test.
